Youth Conservation Conference

The YCC Summer Internship program is a four week internship for current Freshmen and Sophomores in high school who are interested in learning about the environment and careers in the environmental industry.

Dates:

June 19th - July 14th

Monday - Friday 8AM - 4pm

What You Do?

  • Learn about the environment through HANDS on training

  • Learn interview etiquette, scholarship writing and event planning

  • Work with others to create and execute a presentation

  • Travel to forest preserves around Chicago land and meet professionals in conservation

What You Get?

  • A professional network of individuals that can open doors for you in the future. 

  • A portfolio with all of the certifications and awards you acquire through the program (used to apply for college and other internships)

  • Build relationships with other like minded leaders your age. 

  • A monitary award will be given to those who complete the program. 

Last year's Youth Conservation Conference Program was beyond successful. Students and leaders from all backgrounds in conservation gathered and collaborated on issues facing our generation of consumers and leaders. Together we focused and found solutions for problems.
