Since 1991, we have provided opportunity and education for urban children. Fishin' Buddies is a well known leader in the movement to introduce nature to minorities in Chicago.
Our Mission
Training children through fishing and conservation programs. Helping to instill a deep, abiding love for the sublime art of sport fishing. While introducing children to the science and beauty of the air, land and waters of nature. Creating an unyielding respect and concern for the environment.

What We've Achieved
- We have introduced over 50,000 families to nature since 1991.
- Provided paid conservation internships to over 200 inner-city high school and college students since 2009.
- Given over 5,000 fishing poles to children.
- Provided more than 300 free events to the public.
